Here in the battleground Commonwealth, we know all too well that November is an election month, with the tightly contested race between Democratic President Barack Obama and his Republican challenger Mitt Romney just months away.
November is also a chillier month, a time to toss aside the flip-flops and break out the socks–Presidential socks if you will.
So if you are a citizen voter with their allegiance already decided, you can now proudly support your candidate’s policies with a fashionable twist.
That’s where the company Foot Cardigan enters the picture. They’ve rolled out a “Sock the Vote” campaign.
You can “add a little partisanship to your pace,” or “host a party in your shoes,” or even “toe the party lines,” with these new Presidential socks featuring Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. Nope, for all those wondering, there are no Ron Paul socks.
The company usually offers a subscription for fancy, funky socks that are shipped monthly; the selection is generally randomized.
If you order your presidential socks, you can buy a pair for just $12 and get them by September. Or you can get two pairs for $20.
Or you can get the socks and sign up for a monthly random sock subscription, but they promise to send you the presidential nominee of your choice.
