Chesterfield, VA (WTVR) – Two local brothers have created a life-saving device for allergy sufferers.
Eric and Evan Edwards of Chesterfield have received FDA approval for the Auvi-Q.
It’s like an epinephrine injector, but it is easier for patients and caregivers to administer after someone suffers an allergic reaction.
The device is voice-activated and gives verbal commands on how to use it.
The device could be made available to the public as early as November.
