(WTVR) — A new report by the International Data Corporation puts Android phone sales way ahead of the iPhone.
The IDC says the smart phones powered by Google’s operating system accounted for 68% of the phone market last quarter. That’s four times more than the Apple iPhone.
However, one reason for the a drop in iPhone sales is the expected release of the iPhone 5 this Fall.
Blackberry shipments were down to about five percent of the market.
