GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - The man and woman wanted for a weekend stabbing and shooting incident in Goochland County have been arrested.
Goochland County Sheriff James Agnew said in a news release late Sunday that a deputy spotted the pair's 1995 Ford Explorer and pulled them over in the 5000 block of Broad Street Road.
Agnew said Ricky Darnell Ramey and Charlotte H. Hodges were taken into custody without incident Sunday.
Ramey appeared before a magistrate Sunday and is being held without bond on a felony charge of malicious wounding pending a hearing Monday. Hodges is also being held without bond.
A caller contacted dispatchers at 1:45 a.m. saying his friend, Bruce Englehart, was allegedly stabbed in the back by Rickey Darnell Ramey after an argument at a birthday part at a residence on Hadensville-Fife Road in the western part of the county.
The caller also told officials that a female, identified as Charlotte H. Hodges, allegedly fired a handgun during the argument before taking off in a green Ford Explorer.
Englehart was taken to VCU Medical Center.
