RICHMOND, Va (WTVR) - John McCutcheon is a Grammy-nominated singer with 35 albums to his credit. The folk singer is also the author of children books and a long-time activist for peace and social justice. McCutcheon is s coming to Richmond to perform for a benefit concert for the Richmond Peace Education Center.
The concert is Friday, August 3, 7:00 p.m. at the VCU Singleton Center for the Performing Arts Center. McCutcheon will perform music from his latest all Woody Guthrie recording "This Land: Woody Guthrie's America" and music from his other albums.
