DOSWELL, Va. (WTVR) - What happened on a Kings Dominion rollercoaster that forced the park to shut down the ride and release a statement offering "thoughts and prayers" to the affected family?
The Hanover County building inspector found no operational flaws with the Dominator, one of the rollercoasters at Kings Dominion.
However, an incident report provides details about the Friday night episode.
"The patron suffered a seizure-like episode and was unresponsive in the unload station," according to the report. It also said emergency medical treatment was provided to the rider who was transported to Memorial Regional Medical Center in Mechanicsville.
