PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – One child was killed and another was injured in a Saturday night tubing accident on Lake Lanier in Prince George County.
Sgt. Tim Worrell, with the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, told CBS 6 that that accident around 8 p.m.
He said a 19-foot boat was pulling the boys, ages 9 and 10, on a tube when the boat made a sharp turn, slinging the tube into the woods.
The 10-year-old boy died, Worrell said. He said the 9-year-old boy was taken to VCU Medical Center for treatment. The second child’s condition has not been released.
We’re told the children’s parents were among the three adults on the boat.
