Armed robber hits restaurant near VCU

RICHMOND, VA. (WTVR) – Police are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery near VCU’s campus Friday morning.

Police said a man walked into Bodillaz Restaurant, near Goshen and Broad streets at around 2:45 a.m., and demanded money with a revolver.  

The employee handed over what was in the register and the man ran out the back door.

Police described the suspect as a black male between the ages of 30 to 40 years old. He was seen wearing a Martin’s baseball hat, tan button shirt, long dark shorts, and wore pantyhose over his face.
