RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Fire crews put out a vehicle fire inside a 5th Street parking deck, according to Richmond Fire Lt. Robbie Hagaman. The deck is located between Franklin and Main Streets.
The fire department closed streets in the area.
The parking deck and adjacent apartment building were evacuated as a precaution, no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
