The weather should be pretty calm over the next few hours, but we continue to track a complex of severe thunderstorms moving through Ohio.
These storms will track through West Virginia and then into western Virginia after 10 or 11 pm.
There will be the risk of some severe storms late this evening into the overnight, especially west of I-95 and south of I-64. Storms may have strong winds and large hail. (Click here for a map of the latest warnings, and here for the latest county-by-county text warnings).
Lows overnight will be in the low/mid 70s.
There won’t be any major change in the pattern for the week ahead. It will stay fairly hot and quite humid with highs in the mid to upper 90s. A few widely scattered storms are possible each day, and there is the risk of an occasional cluster of strong storms.
There are signs that this pattern will break down early next week as some cooler air comes in July 9-11.
