Organizers warn of excessive heat for Wailers concert

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WTVR)–If you plan on attending the Wailers concert at Pochantas State Park on Thursday, organizers request that you prepare for the excessive heat forecast.

Concert organizers requested that everyone attending the Wailers concert bring two manufacturer-sealed, personal-sized bottles of water (24 oz. or less) to the concert.

They did say however, no coolers are allowed.
 
The door times for the Wailers will remain unaffected and will open at 6 p.m..

They also requested that patrons not line-up in advance of door times, but remain in air-conditioned areas.

For those who do feel the need to stand in line during the heat of the day, please take every precaution to remain we hydrated until doors open at 6 p.m., organizers warned.
