NEW KENT, Va. (WTVR) – VDOT says a crash closed I-64 west in New Kent County for part of Friday afternoon.
Officials said all lanes of the interstate were closed at mile marker 209 just before 4:30 p.m.
As a result, there was a six-mile backup. Drivers were advised to use Route 60 west at exit 214 or exit 211.
The accident was moved to the shoulder and the interstate re-opened around 4:45 p.m.
