RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A shuttle that helps Richmonders get to the grocery store is expanding.
The free bus service will add six stops in the Fulton neighborhood starting June 2.
The courtesy shuttle is a pilot program that began in February to help people in areas without grocery stores that don't have a mode of transportation. The shuttle helps give them better access to healthy, nutritious food.
The shuttle currently serves neighbors living in Hillside Court, Fay Tower, Creighton Court, Farfield, Mosby and Whitcomb Court.
