RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – If you’re down near Rockett’s Landing today, you’ll catch quite the sight, as exact replicas of two of Christopher Columbus’ 3 famed ships make their way into harbor.

“The Nina” and “The Pinta” are hand-built exact replicas of their namesakes– built using only the tools available in 1492, the year the ships set sail for the New World.

They’ll be in port through June 2, and while they’re in town, you’re invited to climb aboard and take a tour. Admission charges range from $6.00 to $8.00. Children four and under are free.
