(WTVR) - Imagine your child coming home crying because he or she wasn't allowed to be in the class picture.
In England, 4-year-old Marcella Marino was left in tears when she was banned from her annual school picture because of her hairstyle.
The Daily Mail reports the little girl arrived to have her picture taken only to be told her long blonde hair fashioned into a bow was against the school's dress code policy.
Her hairdresser father, who styled her "do" for the day, says his daughter wanted to look like a princess.
The school says its policy insists braids are not allowed, but they have since notified parents that the school photo will be rescheduled because there was a mix-up with the dates.
