HENRICO, Va. (WTVR) – Henrico Police were called to the 2300 block of Woodhurst Drive shortly after 4 p.m. for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked inside an apartment complex.
Lt. Maurice said that responding officers located a deceased male inside the vehicle outside the Brandywine Townhomes in Henrico’s West End.
Detectives are currently on scene in the initial stages of the investigation. They tell us the male appears to be in mid-20s. Neighbors tell the police the car had been there for a few days.
Lt. Maurice said that there were no obvious signs of trauma, however, police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death. Detectives will be working with the State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the manner and cause of death.
The individual has not been identified, therefore no next of kin have been notified.
