SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (CNN) – Police in Massachusetts released this video of a man who appears to be attacking a woman and her four-year-old daughter. This video was taken outside a store in Springfield, Massachusetts Friday night.
Police say the man walked up to the mother and daughter with a knife and demanded the woman's purse. She runs away, then he tries to grab the girl, but she gets away too.
Police say the man stabbed the woman in the collar bone area as she then tried to get into the store.
The woman was treated at the hospital and released. Police are still searching for the attacker.
