Carry-on bags will cost you more in the future when you fly with Spirit Airlines.
Starting in November, the airline will charge $100 per bag for each piece of luggage you place in overhead compartments.
Right now, Spirit Airlines charges $45 for carry-on bags.
Spirit says it’s trying to discourage passengers from bringing larger bags on board.
Smaller bags that fit under the seat will be free.
