Richmond Restaurant Week kicks off Monday

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Starting April 23 you’ll be able to wine and dine for cheap in the River City, and it’s for a good cause.

Richmond Restaurant Week is here, over the next week some of the city’s best restaurants in town are putting together a three-course prix fixe dinner menu and donating a portion of the proceeds to FeedMore, the umbrella organization of the Central Virginia Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.

According to Richmond Restaurant Week to date the event has raised more than $130,000.

Here’s how it works if you don’t already know:

•Richmond area restaurants offer up a three-course meal for $25.12 per person, donating $2.12 to FeedMore.

•There’s no special tickets or passes required but reservations are strongly recommended.
