RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Police are asking for the public’s help to find two men wanted in connection with the shooting of a 37-year-old man Monday in Richmond.
Richmond Police said they received a call of a person shot behind the Chicago Manor Apartments in the 1700 block of Chicago Avenue around 12:43 p.m. Monday. [READ MORE: Man shot, killed outside South Richmond apartments]
Officers found Khalfaanii Hasaan Sultaan shot dead next to his 1998 Mazda Millenia sedan. They released a photo of the car, which had Florida license plate 866XIP, Wednesday.
Detectives are looking for two black males seen running from the area moments after the shooting.
One is described as a black male with a dark complexion and a beard, 20 to 25 years of age, with a slim build and about 5-feet-9 to 5-feet-10 inches tall. He was wearing a dark-colored winter down vest and shorts.
The other person also is a black male with a dark complexion and 20 to 25 years old. He is about 5-feet-7 to 5-feet-8 inches tall with an average build. He was seen wearing a white baseball cap, blue short-sleeved polo shirt and light-blue jeans.
