ROCKVILLE, MD (WTVR) – Police in Maryland are asking anyone who picked up money off Interstate 270 Friday morning, to please return the cash – and they won’t ask any questions.
Maryland State Police said an armored truck traveling northbound on I-270 lost a load of dollar bills in all denominations up to $50 bills around 9 a.m.
Officials think the money fell out of an unsecured door on the truck on I-270, just south of Route 109.
Officials ask anyone who may have picked up the money, to return it to Rockville Barrack.
