ASHLAND, Va. (WTVR) – Six people were arrested on various drug charges earlier this week at a motel after a three-month investigation, according to Ashland Police.
The arrests happened at the Apple Garden Inn motel on 99 South Carter Road in Ashland, where four of the suspects were living.
Police said in a news release that when they searched the motel, they found narcotics and drug paraphernalia in some rooms where children were staying.
The suspects face seventeen counts of distribution of narcotics, conspiracy to distribute narcotics and six counts of child endangerment:
- Stephanie Parson, 21, of 99 South Carter Road in Ashland, has been charged with Conspiracy to Distribute Prescription Pills, Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin and Felony Child Endangerment.
- Karen Jones, 34, of the 200 Block of Randolph Street in Ashland, was charged with Distribution of Prescription Pills.
- Joseph McDaniel, 26, of 99 South Carter Road in Ashland, was charged with Distribution of Heroin and Felony Child Endangerment.
- Dialobe Dorsey, 38, of the 9300 Block of Dolman Road in Glen Allen, was charged with Distribution of Marijuana.
- Anthony Dandridge, 46, of 99 South Carter Road in Ashland, was changed with two counts of Distribution of Heroin.
- Melissa Wiles, 26, of 99 South Carter Road in Ashland, was changed with Distribute Prescription Pills, Distribute of Heroin and Felony Child Endangerment.
Police said the investigation was launched after complaints about the motel from the community .
