RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that hit a man in South Richmond and dragged him for about a full block. Police said that the victim was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Richmond police spokesperson Dionne Waugh confirmed that around 8:00 p.m. Monday night a man was hit by an unknown vehicle near Kimrod Road and Orcutt Lane and then dragged down almost a block, to Orcutt and Hull Street Road.
Police said that at this time they do not have a description of the vehicle.
Police have asked that anyone with information call Richmond police at 780-5100 or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
