RICHMOND, Va. -- Firefighters battled heavy flames at two apartments on Richmond’s East End Saturday evening.
Fire crews were called to the Wynwood Apartments on Nelson Street in the Fulton Hill neighborhood around 8 p.m.
When firefighters arrived, they spotted heavy flames coming from two apartments and called a second-alarm.
Officials said crews searched the apartments, but found no one inside.
No injuries were reported.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
