...LOW WIND CHILL VALUES...
Wind chill values will dip between zero and 5 above zero across
much north central Virginia this evening. Ridges above 1000 feet
elevation may have wind chill values slightly below zero. With
this being the coldest conditions so far this season, residents
venturing outside are reminded to wear a thick coat, hat, and
gloves to prevent hypothermia. Make sure animals have a warm, dry
shelter with unfrozen water. Winds will begin to slacken the
second half of the night, but air temperatures will still be in
the teens.
