RICHMOND, Va. – It’s an exciting time for VCU Health as they’re opening a new emergency center at New Kent this spring. Dr. Lisa Dodd, who will serve as medical director of the facility, visited Virginia This Morning to share the news and the impact it’ll have on the community. This will be New Kent County’s first and only freestanding emergency center. For many people, the drive to the closest emergency department was 30 or more minutes away.
