RICHMOND, Va. - In an effort to uphold social distancing guidelines, the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by Kroger adopted a hybrid format and has placed four different courses throughout our area. This includes a course in Byrd Park in Richmond, Henricus Historical Park in Chesterfield, Deep Run Park in western Henrico, and Dorey Park in eastern Henrico.
Courses will have an official start and finish line, mile markers, directional arrows and encouraging messages along the way. Signage and cones will be used to slow and control traffic, and participants can use the RaceJoy app to receive an official finish time and be included on the event leaderboard.
There is also a virtual 10k option available in 2020. If you are unable to participate at one of the four official courses, they are offering participants the opportunity to participate virtually. Run or walk 6.2 miles on your own using the RaceJoy app or upload your results to have an official finisher time and be added to the event leaderboard.
