RICHMOND, Va. -- Senior year is an exciting time for students and their families. While many traditions aren't possible right now, there are ways to celebrate the Class of 2020. CBS 6 and Virginia This Morning proudly offer Senior Salute.
Today, we share our congratulations with Shailyn Washington. She's graduating from Highland Springs High School. Shailyn is enrolled in the Advanced College Academy and will be graduating with a high school diploma and an associate's degree in business administration from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. She has a 4.25 GPA and is involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. Shailyn will be attending the University of Virginia in the fall to study biology. She hopes to become a doctor in obstetrics and gynecology. Congratulations, Shailyn!
