RICHMOND, Va. — Senior year is an exciting time for students and their families. While many traditions aren't possible right now, there are ways to celebrate the Class of 2020. CBS 6 and Virginia This Morning proudly offer Senior Salute.
Today, we’re sending a shoutout to Kyra Owens. She’s senior class president and an honors student-athlete. Kyra is taking classes at Amelia County High School, John Tyler Community College and the Amelia-Nottoway Technical Center. She holds a 4.3 GPA while participating in several clubs, volleyball, basketball, softball and chorus. Kyra plans to attend Bennett College in North Carolina to study chemistry and become a forensic toxicologist.
Congratulations, Kyra!
