RICHMOND, Va. — Senior year is an exciting time for students and their families. While many traditions aren't possible right now, there are ways to celebrate the Class of 2020. CBS 6 and Virginia This Morning proudly offer Senior Salute.
Today, we’re sending a shoutout to Derrick Starks, or Big Smoove has his friends call him. Derrick is graduating from Huguenot High School. He’s known for his larger than life personality and infectious smile. During high school, Derrick was part of the track team, played baseball and football. He attended the Richmond Technical Center and has accepted a job with Newport News Shipbuilding, set to begin later this summer.
