RICHMOND, Va. — Senior year is an exciting time for students and their families. While many traditions aren't possible right now, there are ways to celebrate the Class of 2020. CBS 6 and Virginia This Morning proudly offer Senior Salute.
Today, we send a shout out to Darryl Woolridge or “D-JAY.” He’s graduating from Varina High School. During his senior year, Darryl worked part time as a teacher’s aide, mentoring children to prepare them for school. He was also a student in the NJROTC program and served as captain and shooting guard for his basketball team. Darryl plans to attend college in the fall to become a child counselor.
Congratulations, Darryl!
