RICHMOND, Va. - Pam Roggeman, Dean for the College of Education at the University of Phoenix, joined us today to share her insights on how to help mitigate “summer slide.” Due to the early summer break that swept the nation this year due to COVID-19, it is likely to see lower retention rates among students this upcoming school year. She noted that reading is likely the best way to keep your children up to speed for school.

Just as students had to adapt to this new learning experience, so did their teachers and parents. For information about how virtual learning environments will change the education of your child, Pam has partnered with Blackboard to educate parents and teachers alike about the new learning layout.
