RICHMOND, Va. - According to a recent Capital One Business Survey, 43 percent of small businesses in Virginia report that their financial position is worse than pre-pandemic. This holiday season, Small Unites is encouraging Richmond shoppers to take a sense of pride in and unite around their local businesses.
They've launched #SmallUnites. It's a campaign aimed at celebrating the community's original and unique experiences that make Richmond such a special place to call home. And they're calling on holiday shoppers to support their favorite small businesses safely. Today, Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney talks about the impact the pandemic has had on small businesses and how we can safely support them during this time.
