RICHMOND, Va. — Jenny Lucas and Katie Williams met years ago as students at the University of Virginia. Today, they’re not classmates; they’re co-founders.

Together, they launched Navy Hill, a line of drink products created to ‘upgrade your cocktail.’ The Richmond-based co-founders describe it as the first-to-market blend of club soda and tonic, or “sonic,” with added electrolytes for hydration.

Watch the video above to learn more about what inspired Lucas and Williams to create Navy Hill and what it was like bringing an idea to fruition as entrepreneurs in Virginia.

Right now, Navy Hill offers four blends — original, juniper, ginger and a classic club soda. The team is working on developing new flavors to add to the collection and looking into expanding their format options, like potentially including cans or larger bottles.
