RICHMOND, Va. - The arts and culture community in Richmond, like nearly all industries, is severely impacted by COVID-19. Community partners in the arts community came together to develop the COVID Arts and Culture Relief Fund. Culture Works, 1708, Studio 23, Visual Arts Center of Richmond, Afrikana Film Fest, Art 180, Oakwood Arts, The Iridian Gallery at Diversity Thrift and Black American Artist Alliance of Richmond have joined together to provide financial assistance to artists who need it most.
