BRISTOL, Va. — All week, Virginia This Morning is taking viewers on virtual visits. Our next stop is to Bristol to get a look inside The Birthplace of Country Music Museum.
The museum is temporarily closed due to COVID-19, but the team continues to roll out exciting and educational content online for your time at home.
In the new behind-the-scenes video series, head curator Rene Rodgers walks virtual visitors through several parts of the museum and gives a deeper dive into its rich history.
The museum tells the story of the famed 1927 Bristol Recording Sessions, considered the “big bang” of modern country music.
