RICHMOND, Va. -- The Friends of the Chesterfield County Public Library are a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the Chesterfield County Public Library. In honor of 50 years, they are launching a “Children’s Picture Book'' campaign to donate 1,000 new children's picture books to the Chesterfield County Public Library. Mary Beth Cox and Kahil Dotay with the Chesterfield County Public Library share about the impact this campaign will have on the children in our community.
"The Friends" are asking people to donate money to sponsor picture books. Each $20 donation sponsors one picture book for the library. To donate to the campaign or to find out more information, visit their website.
