RICHMOND, Va. - When a family is in crisis, kids can become vulnerable to neglect and abuse. During COVID-19, many families are more isolated than ever and need support to navigate unexpected illness, homelessness or the lack of extended family support. Through Bethany Christian Services’ Safe Families for Children program, volunteer Host Families in Richmond offer loving care to parents, watching over their children while the parents regain stability.
