MORRICE, Mich. – New gruesome details have been released in the slaying of a Michigan man who authorities believe met his killer on the gay dating app Grindr.

Kevin Bacon, 25, was reported missing when he didn’t return after meeting up with the man on Christmas Eve.

Court documents obtained by NBC News and other outlets reveal that Bacon’s body was found naked and hanging from the ceiling of Mark Latunski's home in Morrice on Dec. 28.

After Bacon’s body was discovered, officers with the Michigan State Police took 50-year-old Latunski into custody.

During an interview, Detective Sergeant James Moore writes that Latunski admitted that he stabbed Bacon with a knife once in the back, then slit his throat, wrapped rope around his ankles and hung him from the rafters on the ceiling.

WILX reports that Latunski also admitted to using a knife to cut off part of Bacon's body and consuming it.

Last week, Latunski was charged with murder and mutilation in connection with Bacon’s death. He’s being held without bond and is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.

It appears this wasn’t Latunski’s first run-in with law enforcement. Police had responded to a bizarre incident in November, where a 29-year-old in only a leather kilt was seen running from Latunski outside his home, WILX reports. The man reportedly had blood on his face and was screaming for help. No charges were filed in that case.

According to WILX, Latunski was also charged with kidnapping in 2013 after allegedly taking two of his four children from his ex-wife, but those charges were later dismissed.
