PETERSBURG, Va. -- Petersburg Police is asking for the public’s assistance to solve the cold case murder of Arneese Peterson.
On December 13, 2014 around 12:08 p.m., police were called to the 1900 block of Wakefield Street for the report of a person shot, according to police.
"Officers arrived on scene and located Arneese Peterson age 43 seated in the drivers seat of a vehicle deceased," a police spokesperson said.
Approaching the 6 year anniversary of the murder, detectives are seeking any information that may lead to an arrest in the case.
