CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Police are looking for two suspects who robbed a Walgreens and assaulted a pharmacist Wednesday morning in Chesterfield.
The robbery occurred at the Walgreens at 6851 Temie Lee Parkway at about 6:05 a.m.
"Two men entered the business; one man jumped the counter, assaulted the pharmacist and demanded narcotics, and the second man demanded money from the register. After receiving narcotics and cash, the suspects fled on foot," said a Chesterfield Police spokesperson.
Police say no one was injured during the incident and no weapons were displayed.
The suspects are described as Black males, one tall and one short.
The taller suspect was wearing a dark-colored jacket, light-colored pants, a light-colored hat, white-and-black shoes and gloves. He was also carrying a bag.
The shorter suspect was wearing all black clothing, black shoes and gloves.
