RICHMOND, Va. -- A multi-hemispheric food career has led Mela Jones to Shockoe Bottom. The industry veteran is preparing to open Leek & Thistle at 2110 E. Main St., a space left vacant last December by Italian restaurant Nota Bene. While Leek & Thistle will offer fresh-made food, there won’t be any hot meals served there.
