RICHMOND, Va. – The Richmond Animal League held a kitten shower adoption event Saturday.
The event featured kittens and adult cats who are in need of good homes.
As an incentive, the adoption fee for cats ages 1 to 5 years old is just $15 through the end of June. And for cats older than 5 years old, there is no fee.
An official with the organization called the event a success and said 20 families adopted pets.
