RICHMOND, Va. -- Dylan, 12, hopes one day to be the smartest person in the universe.

He says his spirit animal is a tiger because they are brave, fierce, intelligent, and protective.

Dylan's favorite subjects in school are math and science, but he enjoys them all.

Some of his other favorite things are slushies, ice cream, and Mexican food.

Dylan's favorite movie is Detective Pikachu, and he loves video games especially Minecraft and Roblox.

Dylan plays the piano and sings.

He's tech-savvy and wants his future family to know that he may become a YouTube celebrity.

Dylan wants to be a computer specialist or an astronaut when he grows up.

He'd like to see a volcano in person.

Dylan loves to laugh, and he thrives with praise but sometimes needs support in social situations.

He's protective, so we need to find him a family to be protective of him.

Dylan will do well in a home with two parents or with a single dad.

In Virginia, we have hundreds of children who are ready for foster to adoption. In other words, these children are ready to find their permanent and loving forever families. As Connecting Hearts – A Deborah J Johnston Charity, celebrates National Adoption Month, our “30 Kids in 30 Days” initiative is to bring awareness to 30 kids or sibling who are available for forever homes, but also to shed light on the other almost 700 children who may not be seen. Our kids are all ages and races, they were put in foster care due to no fault of their own. To learn more and becoming a foster to adoption parent(s) click here.
