RICHMOND, Va. – A Richmond art gallery has unveiled a new exhibit in honor of Black History Month.

The "Black History Now" exhibit at The Well Gallery at 1309 Hull Street in Manchester aims to capture how black history is being “created, celebrated, channeled and affected.”

"It's all regular folks coming to the table creating, designing, implementing ideas that are not only going to encourage the next generation, but at least give the next generation something to look forward to,” The Well Art Gallery’s Ajay Brewer said.

The display features artists of color from across the country as well as Central Virginia artists.

The exhibit will be on display weekends from 12 to 5 p.m. through the end of February.
