RICHMOND, Va. -- The 9th annual Seersuckers, Sundresses, and Sound summer event is going virtual.
Charles Fordham Basalis of Omega Psi Phi Chapter said that COVID-19 has put a halt on the party with a purpose, but that the fundraising will continue online on Saturday, September 5.
The annual event raises funds for their PNG Scholarship Fund which benefits high school and college students.
As in previous years, there will be lots of entertainment featuring DJs with comedian Michael Bam Bam as the host,
Live music includes the Quintessential Jazz Band, platinum record producer Danja Mowf as well as DJ Doug Smith, a house DJ from 95 North.
During the course of the event, solicitation will be made with the fraternity’s PayPal and Cash app addresses flash on screen.
