RICHMOND, Va. -- The Richmond Kickers joined in the CBS 6 Month of Giving with a donation to the Bon Secours Values in Action program.
The program helps Bon Secours employees, who have suffered a hardship, provide Christmas for their young children.
"We're just excited to be a part of giving something back to the frontline workers here in Richmond," Kickers head coach Darren Sawatzky said. "The fact that our health partner Bon Secours worked so well with us, and we have such a good relationship, we just really wanted to benefit some families that have had a little bit harder time."
