RICHMOND, Va. -- The CBS 6 Month of Giving, sponsored by Virginia Credit Union, continued on Tuesday, December 1.

Every day during the Month of Giving, CBS 6 will give back to those in the community.

On Tuesday, CBS 6 reporter Cameron Thompson made donations to three Richmond-area charities in honor of “Giving Tuesday.”

Thompson had featured the charities — The Salvation Army of Central Virginia, The KLM Scholarship Foundation, and Little Hands Virginia — on-air Monday, talking with them about the challenges they have faced and increased demand for their services that have come as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the end of each interview, Thompson surprised the non-profits with a gift card.

If you would like more information about the charities or how to take part in Giving Tuesday, you can see Thompson’s report.
