RICHMOND, Va. -- Giving the gift of life is so important. That's why CBS 6 movie critic and photojournalist Chris Jenkins wanted to celebrate blood donors and Red Cross volunteers.
In the latest edition of CBS 6 Gives, Jenkins surprised some blood donors and volunteers on the same day he made an appointment to donate blood.
"I'm here at a Red Cross Blood Drive. And I can't think of a better way of earning a little box of free apple juice than to give blood," said Jenkins. "So, I'm about to go up here, give out a few gift cards to the kind folks that are donating their time and their blood.
