RICHMOND: Highland Park will serve up food and Jazz music for the community Saturday, August 6 at the 8th Annual St. Elizabeth Jazz and Food Festival, held on the grounds of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, at 2712 Second Avenue. The festival features Charles Mann, Carlton Ayles, Curvy Reid, Glenroy Bailey and Double Digit and starts right at noon and closes at 7:30 p.m. No food, coolers or beverages are allowed into the festival. Admission $5.
Bring the kids, the festival includes children’s activities, community resource information and other community awareness programs, a visit from Nutzy, and lots of food favorites. St Elizabeth Catholic Church was established in Highland Park in 1925 and has a rich history that supports its members, the Highland Park Community and others abroad.
